Body Code

The Body Code™ is considered a breakthrough mind-mapping system. The Body Code uses techniques which discover emotional blocks stored in the body and how to get rid of them. The creator of The Body Code believes that the Subconscious Mind knows everything that’s really wrong with you

Dr. Bradley Nelsen, author of The Emotion Code and creator of The Body Code System has spent over 25 years as a Holistic Chiropractor, successfully treating patients all over the world. His book, The Emotion Code has become a bestseller and helped hundreds of thousands of people change their lives. (More on the Emotion Code here).

One can be trained to become a certified Body Code Practitioner. Currently there are over 1000 people in 39 different countries trained in this energy healing modality!

The Body Code uses a premise that your subconscious mind knows the difference between “Yes” and “No”, or the truth and a lie. When you ask a question about you body, an automatic electrical response occurs in the body’s muscles. Polygraphs, or lie detectors, measure and graph these involuntary responses. The same electrical response can also be shown in either a strong or weak muscle response. The Body Code helps you access info from the subconscious using a form of simple and easy applied kinesiology (aka muscle testing). Strength indicates truth, a “yes” answer or positivity.

Dr. Nelsen says that there’s six main areas of imbalances within one’s body and using The Body Code one can re-balance these areas and the result is that you will have ‘good health, abundant wealth and happy relationships.’

Although Dr. Nelsen says this is an easy methodology to learn, I found it extremely overwhelming when I saw my practitioner’s binder that she had to flip through to find the best, or most appropriate, or significant area to work on for each session. And it’s not cheap! Although they say its ‘real world value’ is ‘$16,992 the normal, full retail price of the system is $4,997.’

My Experience with The Body Code

Again, The Body Code was another modality that I experienced ‘release’ from trapped emotions throughout my body, but I never felt I experienced total ‘healing’ from any of my major health complaints.

Whether you think ‘energy healing’ is all a bunch of hokum, there is a lot of scientific evidence that goes back several decades, even centuries that point to energy within and all around us. Think Nikola Tesla, quantum physics, or even going back to ancient wisdom teachings and theology or religion.

Some energy modalities are easy to learn and some are more complicated. Some can be self-administered and others are generally administered by a certified practitioner. Some are fairly inexpensive; others cost a lot of money either for training or receiving the treatment. It’s up to you to seek out and see which one(s) work for you.

Disclaimer: Certain ideas about energy healing really resonate with me, but yet, when I tried them I didn’t get the results that others were getting, therefore I cannot and will not say that any one modality is the end-all, be-all. (Please consult your own health care provider to find out what is best for you.)

I will explain to you my understanding and my practices, but I know from trial and error that what works for me may or may not work for you…
