Welcome to Thriving-Baby-Boomers

Out of the muck to blossoming as a Thriving Baby-Boomer

I wasn’t always thriving, actually it has only been the last few years that I’ve begun to really flourish. Just like the lotus flower, I have spent much of my life living in the dark, dirty, and damp muck of life.

But all that is changing and continues to improve.

"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, sense of humor, and some style." ~ Maya Angelou

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, sense of humor, and some style.” ~ Maya Angelou

There are so many aspects to being human, and to thrive in this world is to flourish in as many areas as possible. Physical. Mental. Emotional. Spiritual. Financial. Career. Relationships. Retirement. Vacation/Travel. They are all covered here!

Thriving Baby Boomers ~ Using an Holistic Approach

Just because we focus on one area of our lives in the whole-person wheel does not mean that we are ‘broken’ or that we are ignoring the other aspects of self. I believe that we are always

  • interconnected and
  • perfect, (at the true essence of who we are)
  • whole and
  • complete at all times.

I attempt to incorporate as many aspects of the whole person wheel into my daily life – or at least something in each category every week. I realize that not everything works for everybody, but I’ll share with you the best of the best that I have found that works for me.

When we look at one aspect of ourselves to heal, or to improve, all aspects of Self will be enhanced for we are not separated into:

  • Body
  • Mind, and
  • Soul

We cannot ever ‘just’ look at one area of our life like a piece of pie – without affecting the Whole, for we are like a hologram.

You can cut a rose into a million pieces and put it under a hologram and you will still see a whole rose. People are the same way. You can take a cell from any part of the human body and put it under a hologram and see the whole person. That’s what this website is about – seeing the wholeness and perfection in the whole person, no matter what aspect we are focusing on.
