Book Review – The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success
August 30, 2020
One of the smaller books by Deepak Chopra, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success is packed with guidance for a good way to live in harmony with spiritual laws while manifesting ‘success,’ which he says goes beyond wealth.
Deepak says that, “Success in life could be defined as the continued expansion of happiness and the progressive realization of worthy goals. Success is the ability to fulfill your desires with effortless ease…” He goes on to describe other aspects to success saying that, “material wealth is only one component. Moreover, success is a journey not a destination. Material abundance, in all its expressions, happens to be one of those things that makes the journey more enjoyable. But success also includes good health, energy and enthusiasm for life, fulfilling relationships, creative freedom, emotional and psychological stability, a sense of well-being, and peace of mind.”
After addressing each spiritual law using the universe, science, or nature as examples Dr. Chopra gives the reader three practical steps to apply each of the laws to their daily life.
I highly recommend this book and I am starting 2020 by applying these principles to my daily life.
