Travel Packages for Baby-Boomers
Planning package deals can quite often save you lots of money, especially the ‘all inclusive’ deals – they generally really ARE all-inclusive, but it is still always best to read the fine print before finalizing your plans. I’ve recently read that some all-inclusive packages only include breakfast – not lunch and supper; therefore you have to make sure you have enough extra money in your budget to cover paying for these meals.
There are many companies that help one plan their travels such as Expedia, Travelocity and Costco Travel. One can go through an organization such as AARP and Zoomer to plan their travel packages.
Expedia and the other above-mentioned companies list many types of travel experiences you can book through them such as:
- Last Minute Travel Deals
- All-Inclusive Mexico
- All-Inclusive Vacations
- Hotels
- Flights
- Vacations
- Rental Cars and
- Cruises
I have not yet personally experienced or used any company to plan a travel vacation package. But I may consider using one in the future.
I highly recommend one do their due diligence and check out the background and any reviews or Better Business Bureau reports on any company before making a decision and signing on the dotted line.
And don’t forget to always buy travel insurance, especially if you’re going out of country.

I recently came across Boomer Tours & Travel – Accessible Travel. Their slogan is Travel without Barriers. Their description says “We create a worry-free vacation tailored to your specific needs. From accessible transportation, hotels, and sightseeing, to equipment rental …”
I saw a Zoomer magazine at my friend’s place the other day. Apparently, they have some great travel rates and membership specials for Baby-Boomers. (I haven’t checked them out yet…)
