Book Review – Untethered Soul
I personally found reading The Untethered Soul too emotionally gruelling as it touched on so many areas of unhealed emotional ‘wounds’ within… I did and continue to use those triggers as opportunities to relax and release some of the emotional ‘juice.’
I ‘get’ what he was/is trying to say, but I don’t believe it’s just that easy… Singer has 40+ years of several hours of meditation daily… so to him it may be ‘easy’… but for someone who hasn’t had a lifetime of spiritual practices, I find the book and some book study groups oversimplifying the ‘how to’ process…
Be warned…
I actually found Byron Katie’s book, I Need Your Love, Is That True? much easier to follow and implement her principles than those in Singer’s book.
Grateful I got my copy out of the local library and didn’t pay for it!
